Like Pickles & Peanut Butter.

My lovely husband, Jordan, and I have completely different ideas of what jokes are funny, what good music sounds like, what should be considered art, and just about every thing else under the sun. He likes to blast rap music or of course my all time favorite- metal, while I love listening to my dad's old Simon and Garfunkel records. He comes home laughing about some pretty crude jokes he hears from the guys at work, while I still giggle at jokes about chickens crossing roads. If you haven't gotten the picture yet, check out his tumblr and see for yourself. I love him to death, but I think what makes our marriage work {no matter how ridiculous it may be} is how different we really are.

Except that just the other day, while checking out his tumblr and looking through the ridiculous pictures he posted, I saw this letterpress card. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. For some reason, we finally found something we both think is funny! I know you are probably thinking, big deal, but trust me it is a BIG deal. I definitely had to go buy this card today. This may be the only time in our lives we both laugh at the same thing... well, except for Family Guy of course.

Etsy Love.

While I am a sucker for anything plush, or anything with apples, I don't see how anyone could not love La Pomme. Absolutely my newest favorite shop on Etsy, and I don't think I'll be satisfied until I have these gray apples. Okay, maybe I'm being a tad bit dramatic, but I do love them.

Plush apples are very fitting considering this is my first day of Kindergarten. Wish me luck, I cannot wait to meet all the little kiddos.

Get The Redhead.

While floating down the river the other day, someone on the shore yelled out "Get the redhead!" to the person throwing water balloons at passing rafts. Well, what do you think my reaction was? While I should have been a little irritated that he was aiming at my head, I was just happy to be called a "redhead". It's my life goal to fool everyone into thinking I'm a natural ginger. I am obsessed with red hair [over the past few years I've had my hair every shade of red imaginable], and pray there is some fluke in my DNA so I can have little red-headed children.

That's all, just wanted to share with you how ridiculous I am.

The image above is a print by Sarah Jane Studios, one of my all-time favorite artists on Etsy. I can't believe I still don't own anything by her.

How To Heaven.

Now, I'm sure you all love Etsy as much as I do. And I'm pretty sure we don't need another reason to be obsessed. But have you seen the amazing DIYs that are a part of their How-Tuesday portion of the Storque (Etsy's blog)? Yeah, I'm in love.

A pennant rubber stamp roller? A coffee bag apron? Homemade sidewalk chalk? Yes, Yes, Yes please.

I'm definitely starting off with this mini terrarium in a lightbulb. Who wants to join me? I'm thinking about skipping the rest of this semester to complete this project, and the other thousand I just fell in love with.

And what's even more amazing about How-Tuesday? If you don't have the time to make these adorable crafts, or you just fail at your DIY attempt- you can always purchase an original from the crafter themselves.

P.S. Check back tomorrow. I've got something pretty fun (and well over-due) up my sleeve.
