Hello, Holga.

Thanks to the lovely Diana, and this website I studied all weekend, I was finally able to try out my Holga. It was a Christmas gift from Jordan, and yes it was on my "list". So, being the perfect husband, he bought exactly what I said I wanted. But of course, I don't know anything about cameras and I told him to get 35mm film. Duh, it takes 120 film. Didn't I feel like an idiot? It's okay now though, because we found an amazing camera store in Sacramento that not only sells 120 film, but also develops it. I spent Saturday walking through the Fair Oaks Village, running after roosters that really didn't want their picture taken. Jordan and I probably looked like crazies running circles around the roosters, shouting "Stand still you idiots, just lemme take your picture!!!"

What I Wore?
Dress- Vintage (Crimson & Clover)
Leggings- Target
Flats- Soda

Jordan is taking the film in today. I can't wait to share with you the results. That is, unless they don't turn out.

  9. i don't know if this info would interest you, but there exists a 35mm back for the holga. it's fairly inexpensive, too. i got mine from urban outfitters and it works like a dream. the ultimate benefit of course, is being able to use 35 mm film, which is easily accessible.
