Ask Ashley.

So, Relay For Life was awesome. I ended up staying up all night, and walked a total of 14.5 miles. Our team relayed the entire 24 hours, and raised over $2000. The only setback we had was the ridiculous weather. Talk about tornado season in Sacramento, our booth just couldn't handle it. We lost one pop-up tent and all of my decorations. But besides that, it was a huge success.

Hannah left for Africa this morning at 4 AM, and is now on her way to Amsterdam where she has a 12-hour layover. And yes, I already miss her. I don't know what I'm going to do when she leaves for over a year.

I received a few pictures from my Hannah's fashion show. By the way, isn't my sister an amazing designer? I am in love with this dress, and plan on wearing it every day this summer. There are more pictures to come, and I promise to share them. I modeled for another designer, so I have pictures coming from that shoot as well.

I love that Hannah (in the middle) is taller than all her models, and she is wearing flats.

Pictures taken by the talented, Lindsey.

PS I'm going to be taking a short break from the internet this week. I need to stay focused on my endless to-do list, and my computer is just too big a distraction. Please don't be mad at me, I promise to come back soon.

Craft For A Cure.

As I mentioned before, I'm the new team capatain for the REACH Relay For Life team (yay!). If you've never heard of it, Relay For Life is a fundraiser put on by the American Cancer Society, and it's amazing, to say the least. Don't you just hate cancer? Well, I know I do. I hate it a lot. I've lost three grandparents to cancer, and have a cousin who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm sure you all have been affected by cancer in some way, so that's why I'm here. I need help! I am just starting the organization and fundraising portion of this project. If you would like to support my team, there are a number of ways you can do so:

1. Join our team here! Our team needs you, and I promise you will have a blast. You can sign up online here: Once you sign up, you can start raising money. Even if you can't raise the $$$, we would love to see your beautiful faces at the Relay! The Relay will be held on March 22-23 in Citrus Heights, CA. If you don't feel like camping out under the stars with us, you can just come for the day. Whatever works for you, works for me.

2. Donate $ here. My personal goal is to raise $250, but I'm secretly hoping to do $500... so I definitely need your help! Even $1 helps, just do what you can.

3. Donate crafts. We will be auctioning off your creations at the Relay. Hence the slogan, Craft For A Cure. If you are interested in donating your handmade items, or know someone that would be- please email me (ashley.jean.sanford@gmail.com). Even if you are a begining crafter, we would love your help. There are no guidelines/restrictions/expections- we just want crafts!

4. And lastly, please help me get the message out there. Tweet it, email it, facebook it, blog about it.... The more people that know, the better!

Thank you readers, I love you!
