Pressing Flowers.

This weekend I went on a hunt for wildflowers with my mom. When I got back home, I immediately transferred them into the gigantic dictionary I've used to press flowers since I was little. When I opened the pages, I had a big surprise waiting for me. I had completely forgotten about the boquet of daisies I had put in there a few months ago. And there were so many! I framed them and used a piece of ribbon to hang it in my dining room/kitchen window.

I also have a few dried flowers that my mom had put in my dad's architecture book, back when they lived in Virginia. I'm trying to think of something special to make with those. They have been in there for about 30 years. Maybe I'll find a prettier frame for those, any suggestions?

  3. Hannah- But the flowers are white! Actually that's just an excuse, I totally didn't think about that. When I make the ones with the wildflowers I'll make sure not to put them in sunlight :) And it reminds me of her too. Anything with flowers usually does, not sure why.

Shonna- AND I'M SO FLIPPING EXCITED FOR YOU TO BE HERE! Sorry, don't mean to yell. But I miss you so much!
