Photography School, Week One.

I'm going to start the Two Peas In A Bucket Photography Course. As I explained before, the course is broken down into twelve weeks worth of lessons. However, due to my lack of camera knowledge and time, I'm going to {most likely} do this at a slower pace. If you would like to follow along with me, that would be awesome. The link below will take you directly the the PDF for the week, and in this case the first six weeks. Also, if you have any pointers along the way, please please please send them my way. So, here we go.

Week One: Aperture Basic Training

Weekly Challenge: Explore Aperture. Operate your camera in Aperture Priority mode, find a fixed object, and take three pictures at different f/stops. {See the PDF for more directions}

I took the picture above in aperture priority mode, but I didn't understand what that meant. Now let's see if I can figure all of this out for real.

  1. Well I think that photo looks good, I don't know much about photography though. Maybe I need to take this course too.

  2. This sounds like a great class! Hope you learn so much :)

  3. Yay! Exploring how aperture changes your images is so much fun. That was one of my first assignments in Photo I, and one of my favorites. I think I might do this one with you :)

  4. I really want to take this class as well. It has been over 10year since my last photography class so I really really need a refresher. Looking forward to following your progress

  5. Erin- I thought the picture was really neat, I just wished I knew how I got it to look like that. You should take the class too, it will be fun!

    Paige- Thank you!

    Kristi- You will have to answer all my questions then :)

    Brandi- Yes! You should definitely do it with me, the more the merrier. It helps to have other people learning it with you. I'm sure I won't finish the first week by Monday- so no rush either!
