Motivation.

So, as many of you already know, I'm running a half marathon on May 1st. I'm not sure what kind of drugs I was on when I signed up for this thing, but I can't back out now. I am not a runner by any means, and at this point I'm not really in good shape. I started off training with a lot of determination, but life just kind of got in the way. With school and getting sick, I just haven't had time to run. Lovely, considering I have three weeks to get my butt in shape. I'm scared, and really angry with myself.

So now I need motivation. I figured I would start writing about it a bit more on here, so that I can be more accountable. I know, pathetic, huh? I need the internet to keep me on track. Don't judge! Here is my schedule for the next two weeks, do you think I can do it?

Monday- 4 Miles/ Yoga
Tuesday- Yoga
Wednesday- Cross Training/ Yoga
Thursday- Yoga
Friday- 4 Miles
Saturday- 10 Miles
Sunday- 4 Miles

Then the week before I'm doing Yoga every day, and 4 miles on Monday and Wednesday.

  1. dont hurt yourself with working out too much, sometimes more is bad. yoga should def. help with relaxing and stretching out. good luck on your run!

  2. Ash YOU CAN DO IT!!! If I can offer some advice: having a good playlist is the trick. When I am listening to my "running mix" I can run for days. Go find some music that inspires you to run and you'll be okay.

I believe in you!!! (wow, that was cheesy.)
