Dinosaur.

I almost forgot to share these pictures, and I got really excited when I stumbled across them today. Awhile ago my sister made her best friend's son, Lucas, the most adorable plush dinosaur. The neck/body has a big L on it, and the rest of his name is spelled out on little blocks that attach to the body with hidden magnets.











How adorable is that? P.S. Are you ready for Christmas? I can't believe it's already the 14th, yikes!

Fly Away.

I think the middle child in me came out after my last post, and I just had to make something to show off. I finished my origami crane mobile, and I love it. Here are a couple pictures & a sneak peek of my newandimproved living room, which we're almost done with.

Pressing Flowers.

This weekend I went on a hunt for wildflowers with my mom. When I got back home, I immediately transferred them into the gigantic dictionary I've used to press flowers since I was little. When I opened the pages, I had a big surprise waiting for me. I had completely forgotten about the boquet of daisies I had put in there a few months ago. And there were so many! I framed them and used a piece of ribbon to hang it in my dining room/kitchen window.







I also have a few dried flowers that my mom had put in my dad's architecture book, back when they lived in Virginia. I'm trying to think of something special to make with those. They have been in there for about 30 years. Maybe I'll find a prettier frame for those, any suggestions?
